SimpleGreetings

SimpleGreetings v1.3 - 10/20/2026

Features:
Introducing absence-aware greetings! Been gone for 30 minutes? 12 hours? 3 days? Azeroth is going to let you know that it knows!
Improved greeting system prevents repetitive greetings.
New Hunter greetings will remind you to feed and train your pets.
Improved quest tracking to ensure that quest whispers are accurate and relevant, as well as a quest DB to allow for whispers from quests you obtained before downloading SG.
Questgivers aren't as impatient now, and won't whisper you about the same things consecutively. They're also more likely to whisper you about old quests.

Bug fixes:
Objects will no longer gain sentience and whisper you about their quests.
Greetings will now only occur when you enter the game, not during reloads.

Developer note: This will be my last update to this addon... during the Forever beta. Beyond ensuring that the addon doesn't appear "Out of date" on release, I intend to take a break from addon development for about a month for the release of Forever. I still have quite a bit planned for this addon, and will likely be working on other addons in the future, so stay tuned! :)
