What's new

# SimpleAmmoCount Changelog

## 1.60.1g
- The minimap button now uses the standard LibDBIcon-1.0 library, so minimap button managers like Leatrix Plus can pick it up. Your saved button position carries over.

## 1.60.1f
- Added an "Only show icon when ammo is low or out" option on the General tab. When it's on, the on-screen icon stays hidden until your ammo drops to your Low Ammo Threshold (1-400) or runs out, and it disappears again once you restock. It also stays hidden while a Thrown weapon is equipped. The icon is always shown while the options window is open so you can still position it. The DataBroker display and minimap button are not affected.
- Made the options panel slightly taller to fit the new option.

## 1.60.1e
- Added an ammo picker: left-click the on-screen icon to see the ammo in your bags that works with your equipped ranged weapon, then click one to equip it. Bow/Crossbow shows Arrows and Gun shows Bullets. Right-click still opens the options, and dragging still moves the icon when it's unlocked. It won't swap ammo during combat or while a vendor/bank window is open.
- The "out of ammo" icon now detects your ranged weapon type (Bow, Crossbow, Gun) from the weapon subtype the game reports for the item in your Ranged slot, instead of guessing from the weapon's icon filename.
- Changed how Thrown weapons work. Thrown weapons are no longer an ammo item in WoW: Forever, so they are no longer tracked as ammo or shown in the ammo picker. If you have a Thrown weapon equipped, the on-screen icon now just shows that weapon's icon with no count and no LOW/OUT text, and the DataBroker text reads "Thrown". The crate icon is now just a placeholder shown when you're out of ammo and have no ranged weapon equipped.

## 1.60.1d
- Fixed the ammo count getting stuck at 0 after switching weapons and then re-equipping ammo (e.g. switching from a Gun to a Bow and filling your quiver) - the icon would update but the count wouldn't. The addon now also listens for the modern "equipment changed" event, which this client doesn't always fire the same way as it fires for bag changes, so ammo-slot updates are no longer missed.

## 1.60.1c
- Moved the Normal text color and Low ammo text color swatches from the General tab to the Appearance tab. The General tab now just handles locking, the low ammo color toggle, and the low ammo threshold slider.
- Made the options panel taller so the tip text at the bottom of the General tab no longer runs past the bottom edge of the panel.
- Added an icon for the addon itself, shown next to its name in the in-game AddOns list.
- Fixed the minimap button not sitting flush against the edge of the minimap the first time it shows up after logging in. It now recalculates its position once the world has finished loading, instead of only when you drag it.

## 1.60.1b
- Added a special case for Thrown weapons: if you're completely out (no weapon in your Ranged slot and no ammo), the icon now shows the Toolbox instead of the default icon. This is because Thrown weapons run out differently than Bows/Guns - the weapon itself disappears from your Ranged slot instead of just the ammo running out.

## 1.60.1a
- Added an "out of ammo" icon: when you run out, the icon now changes to a Quiver (Bow/Crossbow), Ammo Pouch (Gun), or Toolbox (Thrown weapons), based on what ranged weapon you have equipped.
- Added "LOW" and "OUT" warning text that appears just above the icon when ammo is low or empty. This text resizes along with the icon.
- Fixed a bug where the weapon-type detection didn't work, so the "out of ammo" icon above was stuck showing the default icon instead of the correct one.

## 1.60.1
- Initial release.
- Shows your equipped Quiver/Ammo Pouch icon with your current ammo count.
- Icon can be moved, locked in place, and resized.
- Options panel with tabs for General, Appearance, and Broker/Minimap settings.
- Low ammo warning color, with an adjustable threshold (1-400).
- Custom icon support: drag an item onto the icon, type an item ID, or browse your bags.
- Minimap button and DataBroker (Titan Panel/Bazooka/ChocolateBar-style) support, both using a fixed Sharp Arrow icon.
- Option to show/hide the minimap button and the on-screen icon independently.
- Restricted to Hunter, Rogue, and Warrior, since only those classes use ammo.
