Simple Tracked Bars Direction (STBD)
Simple Tracked Bars Direction is a lightweight, "plug-and-play" utility for World of Warcraft: Midnight. It enhances Blizzard’s default Cooldown Viewers (Tracked Buff Bars) by allowing you to stack them dynamically in either an UP or DOWN direction, ensuring your UI stays clean and organized without manual micro-management.

- Dynamic Stacking: Automatically groups your active tracked buffs into a tightly packed, collapsing list.
- No Gaps: When a buff expires, the remaining bars smoothly slide into place to fill the void—no more awkward empty spaces in the middle of your screen!
- Integrated Edit Mode: Seamlessly hooks into the native Blizzard Edit Mode interface.
- Tracked Bars Order: It uses the order of what the tracked bars are set to in the cooldown manager settings.
- Conflict Protection: Includes an intelligent detection system that identifies and warns you if other addons are fighting for control over your bar positions.
How to Change the Growth Direction
Changing the layout is simple:
- Enter Edit Mode: Open your Game Menu (Esc) and select Edit Mode.
- Select Tracked Bars: Click on any of Blizzard's cooldown frames (e.g., Essential Cooldown Viewer or Tracked Buffs).
- Open STBD Options: Look for the new "STBD Options" button at the bottom of the Blizzard settings popup.
- Pick Your Direction: A small settings window will appear snapped to the side. Simply use the dropdown menu to select Up or Down (Default).
- Instant Preview: Your bars will immediately rearrange themselves to show you the new layout.
Alternatively, you can quickly toggle the direction at any time using the slash command: /stbd
