Simple Totems

SimpleTotems is a specialized utility addon for Shamans, now compatible with both Classic Era and Classic Mists of Pandaria (MoP). It provides a dynamic, minimalistic bar for managing and casting elemental totems, replacing cluttered action bars with a single, context-sensitive interface.

Core Features

• Cross-Version Support: Fully optimized for both Classic Era and Classic MoP.
• Shaman Exclusive: Automatically detects character class and only loads for Shaman players.
• Elemental Categorization: Organizes totems into their four native elements: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air.
• Dynamic Totem Selection:
  • Left-Click: Casts the currently assigned totem for that element.
  • Right-Click: Opens a clean, borderless pop-up menu of all known totems for that element to swap assignments on the fly.
• Quick Recall: Includes a dedicated button for "Totemic Call" to instantly destroy active totems and recover mana. This button hides automatically if the spell is not learned.

Customization & UI

• New Options Menu: A dedicated settings page found in Options > Addons allowing for:
  • Lock Position: Secure the bar to prevent accidental movement.
  • Resize Cells/Buttons: Scale the icon sizes to match your preferred UI scale.
  • Adjustable Spacing: Customize the gap between buttons for a more compact or spread-out look.
• Visual Indicators: Assigned slots display the specific icon of the selected totem.
• Movable UI: Drag-and-drop positioning that saves across sessions per character.

Technical Functionality

• Secure Action Templates: Built using Blizzard's secure templates, ensuring buttons remain fully functional for casting during combat.
• Intelligent Layout: The bar automatically resizes and realigns itself based on your level and learned spells, maintaining a clutter-free experience.
• Performance Optimized: Efficiently listens for spell-learning events to update the UI only when necessary, ensuring zero impact on game performance.
