Description
Silver Hand Forever
Blessings and auras for every paladin in the group - built for World of Warcraft: Forever.
Silver Hand is a blessing addon made for Forever: one-hour blessings, trainable Kings, battlegrounds where names can be hidden, and the game's own look. It works on its own, and gets better when the other paladins in your group use it too. Compatible with Pally Power.
Two ways to play
Simple - no planning. Silver Hand gives everyone the best blessing they don't have yet, in the order they asked for. Press one key or click the bar.
Organised - the full grid. Plan with the other paladins who blesses what, Greater Blessings per class, per-player exceptions and saved setups (MC, BWL...).
Pick one on the welcome screen; switch any time.
The buff bar
- Bless Next is the main button: it always knows who's next, shows their name, and keeps moving through the group in combat (the list is set before the pull)
- Coverage strip: a small bar per class under the buff bar, filling as the class is blessed - see the gaps at a glance
- Full, Compact or Minimal, and it folds down to Bless Next when everyone is blessed
- Your keybind on the buttons, mana check, tank/healer icons, one countdown for the soonest blessing to run out
- Aura, Rez, Cleanse, pinned players and (optional) a seal button - choose which show
- Right-click the aura or seal button to choose yours; they follow what you cast and glow when they're off
- Ready check wakes the bar up; Rez pulses when someone dies
- Size, spacing, layout, grow direction and borders are all adjustable
Battlegrounds
Battlegrounds on Forever hide other players' buffs and range from addons and block addon messages, so Silver Hand keeps it simple there:
- A fixed 5-button bar: aura, yourself, Bless Next, Rez, Cleanse
- Bless Next shows who it will bless, remembers everyone you've blessed and skips anyone out of reach
- Best way to play: hover a raid frame or friendly nameplate and press Bless Mouseover (Ctrl = Might, Alt = Wisdom) or Cleanse Mouseover
- Friendly nameplates (Shift+V) show the blessings you've given in their top-left corner
- A one-time tip explains this the first time you enter a battleground
Dispels
A purple edge on the unit frames of anyone with a debuff you can remove, an optional Cleanse button on the bar, and a Cleanse Mouseover key (Purify until you learn Cleanse).
On your unit frames
Markers on your party and raid frames show the blessing each player has from you (like normal buffs, fading near the end) - or, if you prefer, who still needs it - Blizzard frames, Grid2, Z-Perl, EllesmereUI, ForeverUI, HealBot and more. Icon, dot or glow, with an optional coloured edge.
Pinned players
Pin up to 5 players (tanks, healers, a flag carrier) and they get their own bar button with their Smart blessing - set before combat, so it keeps working through the fight. /shand pin with them targeted.
Playstyle helpers
A small cooldown row for your spec (read from your talents), a low-mana warning, and helpers for each spec - they show you things, you still press the buttons:
- Retribution: Judgement and Exorcism glows, Freedom glow when slowed, a world-PvP kill window, Hammer of Justice / Repentance mouseover keys
- Holy: Divine Favor glow, 5-second-rule bar, heal target marker, tank watch, mouseover keys for Flash of Light, Holy Light, Holy Shock and Lay on Hands
- Glows show on your own action bars (Blizzard, Bartender, Dominos, ElvUI) or the cooldown row
- Protection: threat bar, Holy Shield and Consecration timers, Righteous Fury on pull, lost-target and shield alerts
- PvP mana warning: earlier in PvP, with your mana potion and last-reserve warnings
Weapon sets
Three ready-made swaps with their own keybinds and optional bar buttons - no macros to write:
- Last Light: sword and shield, then Divine Shield (works in combat)
- Crusade: back to your two-hander
- Angler: fishing rod on and off
Type the items or take what you're wearing, and pick up to two abilities to cast after the swap.
Tanks and raid leaders
- Tanks of any class can let Silver Hand remove Salvation automatically (out of combat)
- Main tank marks count as tanks for Smart picks
- Leaders can lock the grid
- Compatible with Pally Power
For everyone in the group
- My blessings: any player with Silver Hand (paladin or not) can set the order they want their blessings in, and every paladin follows it
- Tanks, healers and casters are worked out for players without the addon
- Lay on Hands and Divine Intervention cooldowns for every paladin
- Righteous Fury, ready check and Symbol of Kings reminders
- Optional end-of-group Blessing report
Unit frame look and accessibility
An optional light reskin for Blizzard's party and raid frames (texture with LibSharedMedia support, class colours, theme border), plus colour-blind friendly markers and bigger text - offered on the welcome screen.
Modules
Every part has an on/off switch on the Modules page - or right-click the minimap button for a quick menu with the same switches, bar mode, Test Mode and Mute.
And also
- Keybinds: Bless Next, Bless Target, Bless Mouseover, Rez
- Alliance, Horde and Blizzard looks, window opacity and scale
- Profiles, plus sharing your settings as a code
- Test Mode: try everything alone with a pretend party, battleground or 40-player raid
- Esc > Options > AddOns page, addon compartment button, Titan Panel and other info bars
- Works in every game language
Beta
This is a beta for the Forever beta. If something looks wrong, type /shand log and copy what it shows into a comment - it helps a lot.
