SilentFilter

SilentFilter is a lightweight World of Warcraft Classic / Season of Discovery addon that lets you quietly hide chat from specific players — without using /ignore.
They’ll never know they’ve been filtered, and your chat stays peaceful.

⚙️ Commands

Command	Description
`/sf add Name-Realm`	Add a player to your silent filter list
`/sf del Name-Realm`	Remove a player from the list
`/sf list`	Show all filtered names
`/sf clear`	Remove all filtered names
`/sf whispers` / `/sf nowhispers`	Toggle filtering whispers (default ON)
`/sf party` / `/sf noparty`	Toggle party chat filtering
`/sf raid` / `/sf noraid`	Toggle raid chat filtering
`/sf guild` / `/sf noguild`	Toggle guild chat filtering
`/sf instance` / `/sf noinstance`	Toggle instance chat filtering
`/sf say` / `/sf nosay`	Toggle /say filtering
`/sf yell` / `/sf noyell`	Toggle /yell filtering
`/sf help`	Show command list in chat

🧠 How to Use

Install SilentFilter into your AddOns folder:
Restart WoW and enable “Load out of date AddOns” if needed.
Once logged in, type /sf help to see available commands.
Add any players you want to hide using /sf add Name.
That’s it! Their messages vanish — no warnings, no system notices.

💡 Example

/sf add Spammy-Grobbulus /sf add Toxicplayer /sf list

Result:

SilentFilter: Blocked: Spammy-Grobbulus, Toxicplayer

Now, if either of them whispers or talks in your group chat, you won’t see it — but they’ll think it sent successfully.

🔧 Technical Details

SilentFilter uses ChatFrame_AddMessageEventFilter to suppress messages client-side only.
It doesn’t modify Blizzard’s /ignore system, ensuring the other person never knows.

📦 Installation

Unzip SilentFilter.zip
Move the SilentFilter folder into your AddOns directory:
Restart WoW and check SilentFilter in your AddOns list.
