Sidekick QoL

Sidekick QoL is a lightweight, modular Quality of Life addon for World of Warcraft Retail.

Instead of trying to replace your UI, Sidekick focuses on one thing: making the game smoother. Every module adds small improvements that save clicks, reduce friction, and automate repetitive tasks while staying fast and unobtrusive.

Only the features you enable are loaded. Disabled modules consume no events, no frames and virtually no CPU time.

⏰ Reminders A readiness checklist so you never pull under-prepared:

• A "Ready?" window that lists what is and isn't set: talent loadout, gear, loot spec, gems and enchants, durability, consumables. It pops on a ready check when something is off (or on demand with /sk check), updates live as you fix things, and is movable.
• Talents: warns if your active saved loadout does not match a keyword you set per content (for example "M+" for dungeons, "Raid" for raids), showing expected vs current.
• Gear: flags a missing cloak and low item level pieces, naming each slot, with a configurable threshold.
• Loot spec: keeps your loot specialization aligned with your active spec and tells you in chat when it changes.
• Gems and enchants: flags missing enchants and empty gem sockets, naming the pieces (a slot with no socket is never flagged).
• Live alerts as a pulsing center banner in Sidekick purple: low durability anywhere, and a missing or expiring flask or food while in a dungeon or raid.

🔑 Mythic+

• Ready and Pull buttons on the keystone frame when you slot your key (leader only), with a numeric pull duration and a prominent center countdown that DBM and BigWigs pick up.
• Great Vault tracker: a weekly summary of your vault progress, shown reliably on login or on demand.
• Keystone reminder if your key is still in your bags before you start.
• Quick Signup: auto-accepts the premade group signup and the role check, so you apply in one click. Hold Shift to keep the dialog open (e.g. to type a note).
• Applicant rating tint: colors each applicant's Mythic+ rating by score tier in the group finder.

☠️ Death & resurrection (Death Rez)

• DON'T RELEASE: when you die while a rez is likely and reach for the Release button, the death popup dodges your cursor, a center warning appears, and a sound plays.
• Per situation toggles (raid on by default, group, battleground, arena, solo), plus a dodge timeout and dodge limit as a safety valve so you can always release when no rez is coming.
• Sound and warning are each toggleable, and it never interferes with accepting a real resurrection.

🎮 Commands

• /sidekick or /sk opens the options panel. Enable or disable whole modules with the master toggle, then fine tune each feature.

Sidekick is developed for players who enjoy a polished UI without installing dozens of tiny addons.

The goal isn't to replace specialized addons like DBM or WeakAuras, but to provide a collection of carefully designed Quality of Life improvements that naturally fit into the default Blizzard interface.
