Shrack Rogue Tools

A quality-of-life addon for Assassination and Subtlety rogues in WoW Retail (Midnight). It tells you out loud and on screen when things are ready, and it keeps an eye on a few things that are easy to forget mid-fight. Everything is controlled from one window: type /srt.

Cooldown alerts

• Tick the abilities you want to hear about. It speaks “Vanish ready” with the game’s own text-to-speech voice and shows the ability’s icon on screen.
• Covers your class abilities, racials, both trinkets and DPS potions.
• Spells with charges (like Feint) announce each charge as it comes back.
• Potions only announce the one you last used, not every ticked potion.
• The flash icons line up in a row. You choose which way the row grows, and you can move and resize it.

Power Infusion alert

When a priest gives you Power Infusion, you get the voice and icon out of combat. In combat the game hides the buff from addons, so the addon uses a game-side sound that plays your own voice clip.

Tricks of the Trade macro

It keeps a macro pointed at the tank in your group or raid, with no manual editing. If there are two or more tanks, a box lets you pick which one.

Bleed tracker (Assassination)

• A small movable panel shows Garrote and Rupture as x/n: how many of the enemies in your pull carry your bleed.
• The Rupture number is colour-coded by your Scent of Blood bonus: red, orange, yellow, green at 20%.
• The panel fades out when only one enemy is in the pull, and shows up at two or more.
• Settings: resize with a slider, a Preview button, and unlock-and-drag to place it.

Boss reminders

• Check Talents the first time you target each boss in The Venomous Abyss.
• Remove Atrophic Poison before The Coiled Altar (mind control), if the poison is on you.
• The reminder text is movable.

Other details

• Cooldown tracking pauses during loading screens, so you don’t get false “ready” calls after zoning.
• Uses the Expressway font and a modern dark window.
• Commands all start with /srt (/srt opens the window, /srt bleed … for the bleed panel).

Limits

• Midnight hides many combat details from addons. Some alerts work fully only out of combat.
• The bleed tracker counts enemies that are engaged with you and have a visible nameplate (turn on enemy nameplates). It can’t filter by Crimson Tempest range.
• Spoken alerts use the voice set in your Windows and WoW accessibility settings.
