Should I Roll?

Should I Roll? answers that before the timer runs out.

Paste your BiS list once. When something on it drops, you get a sound and a popup with the item's icon, quality colour and tooltip — plus Need, Greed and Pass wired straight to the live roll. Win it, and it crosses itself off.

Features

• Import your list by pasting it. One item per line. Item links and item IDs work too, and leading bullets or 1. numbering are stripped, so a list copied straight off a guide site drops in cleanly.
• Alerts the moment it drops — sound, plus a movable popup with the icon, quality colour and full tooltip on hover.
• Roll without leaving the alert. During a group loot roll the popup carries Need / Greed / Pass bound to the real roll, plus a countdown bar that runs green → amber → red as the clock drains. Buttons you aren't eligible for grey out and tell you why.
• Tier pieces are converted to the token that actually drops. Paste Helmet of Celestial Harmony from a guide and the list stores Helm of the Cursed Protector — because the piece never drops, the class token does. It says so when it happens. Covers all three Mists tiers and every class.
• Crosses off automatically when you win a roll, receive loot, get personal loot, or buy the item from a vendor.
• Add items without leaving the window. Type a name into the box under the list, or shift-click any item in the game while the box has focus and its link drops straight in.
• Sort by gear slot, helm down to off-hand the way a BiS list reads, or alphabetically. Crossed-off items sink to the bottom either way.
• Tag items per spec if you gear two. The list can be filtered to one spec at a time, and an item both specs want is a single row carrying both tags. Alerts always fire on every spec's items regardless of which spec you are in — loot doesn't care what you're playing, and an alert you miss because you were in the other spec would be worse than no addon at all.
• Handles wanting two of something. Append x2 for a weapon you need in both hands. The row reads 0/2, ticks to 1/2 on the first win while still alerting, and only crosses off at 2/2.
• Icons resolve immediately, before you have ever seen the item — a freshly imported list shows real art, not a wall of red question marks.
• Per-character or account-wide lists, switchable from the window.
• No dependencies. Nothing else to install; the addon declares none and needs none.

Getting started

1. Type /sir to open the window.
2. Click Import, paste your list, and confirm. Or type items into the box under the list one at a time.
3. Go raid.

Gearing two specs? Pick a spec with the button above the list before importing, and everything in that paste is tagged for it. Then switch and paste the other one — shared items are tagged for both rather than duplicated.

Two things worth knowing

Items are matched by name, on purpose. Every SoO item has a different item ID per difficulty — LFR, Flex, Normal, Heroic — but the same name. Matching by name means one entry covers all four. A pasted item link would pin you to a single difficulty, so links are converted to their name on import.

Questline rewards can't drop. The legendary cloaks are earned, not looted, so putting one on your list means an alert that can never fire. Leave them off.

A red ? icon means the name didn't resolve. Usually that's a typo, or an item below the endgame range the icon table covers.

What it doesn't do

It tells you whether an item is on your list — it does not sim your character, compare stats, or judge whether a drop is an upgrade. You decide what goes on the list; the addon makes sure you never miss it landing.
