ShotClock

Minimal hunter Auto Shot timer — reload bar + aim window. Stand still through the red; move freely through the green
A minimal hunter Auto Shot timer for Classic. Every Auto Shot cycle ends in a ~0.5s aim window — move or cast during it and you delay your own shot. ShotClock draws the whole cycle as one bar:
  • Green fill (reload): shrinks toward empty — move and weave casts freely.
  • Red fill (aim): grows over the ~0.5s aim window — stand still. If you move, the red fill visibly snaps back: your aim restarted.
  • The number on the right is seconds until the shot fires.
Models the real edge cases: Aimed Shot restarting the cycle, Feign Death resetting it to unhasted weapon speed (+0.15s) when broken by movement, in-combat haste buffs rescaling mid-reload, and the server's 0.5s retry delay after a failed shot (too close / wrong facing). Shows in combat or while shooting, hides otherwise. Loads only on Hunters. Setup: drag the bar into place, then /sc lock. Commands: /sc (help) · lock/unlock · width <px> · height <px> · scale <0.5–2> · text on|off · reset. Both clients, one download: TBC Anniversary (2.5.6) loads ShotClock.toc, Classic Era (1.15.9) loads ShotClock_Vanilla.toc. Credit: the Auto Shot engine is extracted from WeaponSwingTimer by LeftHandedGlove, as maintained in WatchYourSixx's SixxFix fork — huge thanks to both. This is the hunter Auto Shot subset only, with small fixes (Trueshot Aura rank 4 in the reset list, immediate failed-cast clearing, player-filtered spellcast events). GPL-3.0 with the rest of Fiddlejig.
