Open your map and see the hunt

Every catalogued rare puts a paw on your world map, and its colour tells you where you stand at a glance:

• Crimson - you still need this beast.
• Turquoise - already tamed or defeated.

No hovering, no clicking, no second monitor with a website open on it. Open a zone and the remaining hunt reads itself.

Find the beast, not just the zone

Pick a rare and Shiny Hunter marks every spawn point it knows, colours the route, and walks you between them automatically, moving on to the next spot if nothing turns up at the first. Dossiers name the exact sub-area a beast hides in, because "somewhere in this zone" is not a hunt, it is a chore.

It notices before you do

Walk past a rare and Shiny Hunter records it, even if you never targeted it. You get its portrait, its family and a sound, so the beast you have been circling the map for does not slip by while you are looking at your bags.

Your journal earns its entries

Tame it or kill it. Both count, and neither can be faked. There is no button to tick a beast off by hand, because a collection you can fill in by typing is not worth showing anyone. Shiny Hunter watches for the real tame and the real kill, and records which one you managed.

Your stable holds 205 pets. Your journal holds all 632.

Complete a region, keep the trophy

Every zone becomes a long-term objective. Finish one and the trophy stays, whatever you do with your stable afterwards.

Help the journal grow

New zones arrive faster than any database can follow them, and the hunter standing in front of an unknown beast is often the only record that exists. Shiny Hunter notes those encounters quietly, and /shiny share hands the notes back to you so you can pass them on.

Nothing is ever sent anywhere. The addon does not talk to any website, and there is no submit button pretending otherwise.

Works on its own, in your language

Shiny Hunter needs no other addon - not RareScanner, not TomTom, not Waypoint UI. It follows your game's language automatically, or you can choose the journal's language yourself: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese.
