Shield Tax

Warriors pay a hidden gold tax every time they press Shield Block. Your shield loses durability when you block, costing you roughly 25 gold per M+ dungeon. This is a cost no other tank class pays for their active mitigation.

Shield Tax tracks this invisible cost in real-time with a sound effect and on-screen gold counter.

Inspired by Kersplode's r/wow research and the PC Gamer article it spawned.
