Forever has no realms. Seen is your realm’s memory.
In World of Warcraft: Forever, everyone shares one big world and Blizzard quietly puts you near people you’ve met before. But the game never tells you who they are. Was that the healer who carried your Deadmines run, or the one who ninja-looted the blue? Seen remembers for you.
Works in WoW: Forever and Classic Era.
What Seen does
Remembers the people you play with
- Everyone you group or raid with, and everyone you trade with (including what you gave and got).
- People you meet in the wild: target them and click +, or right-click them and pick Remember this player.
- Their guild, and which of your characters met them.
- Optional in Forever: turn on campfire tracking to remember who rested near you, and what they brought to camp.
Reminds you at the right moment
- Seen before: when someone you know joins your group, one line in chat tells you how often you’ve played together, when you last saw them, and your note.
- Tooltips: hover over a player to see your note, tags and history.
- Group Finder: listings with someone you know get a star, skull or note icon.
- Whispers: when someone you’ve noted whispers you, Seen adds a short reminder.
- Invites: a clear warning when someone you marked to avoid invites you.
Notes, tags and flags
- A note for each person, plus favorite or avoid.
- Tags for role (Tank, Healer, DPS), profession (Enchanter, Tailor, Blacksmith and more), personality (Friendly, Funny, Helpful, Rude) and Recruit.
A journal that looks like part of the game
- Open it with /seen or the minimap button.
- Search names, notes, guilds, zones and tags.
- Tabs for All, Today, Favorites, Avoid and Notes, plus a tag filter (“show me every enchanter I know”).
- Right-click anyone to whisper, invite or add them as a friend.
- Copy a list of names, and back up your notes.
- Warcraft or Modern theme, adjustable size and see-through background.
Commands
- /seen opens the journal
- /seen add remembers your target
- /seen note writes a note for your target
- /seen fav or /seen avoid marks your target
- /seen help shows everything else
You can also set a key in Options > Key Bindings > AddOns > Seen.
Privacy and fair play
- Everything stays on your computer. Nothing is sent to other players.
- Seen never reads combat data, so it follows Blizzard’s addon rules for Forever.
- People you met once and never noted are forgotten after 90 days (you can change this).
Good to know
Forever and its addon tools are brand new. Group Finder notes and camp items are the newest parts, so if anything looks off, please leave a comment. In fact, leave comments for anything you would like to see added, I'd be happy to continue updating, adding features, and working though future iterations!
