Play on one screen, manage on the other
SecondScreen stretches the game window across two monitors, renders the 3D world only on your main display and moves your bags, world map, chat and other windows to the second screen. There you can arrange everything freely with the mouse.
Features
- Bags – Combined backpack, reagent bag and individual bags stack neatly from a corner of your second screen and wrap into a new column when they get too tall.
- World map – Fits itself to the second screen automatically, including panels that other addons attach to it. Optionally keeps the map open at all times.
- Chat – Main chat window with all docked tabs. Drag to resize, mouse wheel to change the font size. Your normal single-monitor chat position is preserved.
- 10 more windows, each optional – Professions, quest log, character, spellbook, talents, bank, mailbox, merchant, auction house, guild/friends.
- Move mode – A grid and color-coded frames appear on your second screen. Drag to move, scroll to scale, right-click to reset. Closed windows show up as placeholders, so you can position them in advance. Nothing can be dragged off the screen.
- Per-setup profiles – Every monitor layout remembers its own positions and sizes.
- Combat-safe – Protected windows are repositioned after combat ends; move mode switches off automatically when combat starts.
- Easy access – In-game menu (
/ss), minimap button and an entry under Options → AddOns.

The main monitor is always 2560×1440. The setup is detected automatically from the window size.

Known limitations
- In-game texts are currently German only (menu, chat messages, tooltips, script messages).
- Only the three monitor layouts listed above are supported.
- Spellbook, talents and character window are locked by the game during combat and move once combat ends.
- Not compatible with other multi-monitor addons such as "Offhand" – enable only one.
- Windows only (because of the AutoHotkey script).
