What's new

## ScryWoW 0.59.0

**Updating from 0.57 or older? Restart the game fully once (not just /reload). This update adds a new add-on file.**

### Gear and items
- Gear tips now know what you can actually use. You won't get upgrade pop-ups for mail before level 40 (Hunters, Shamans), plate before 40 (Warriors, Paladins), or weapon types your class can never use.
- A weapon your class can use but you haven't trained yet says "learn it at a weapon master first". Weapon masters now show on the world map with your trainers.
- Item locks work on equipped gear. A padlock in the character window lets you lock what you're wearing.
- Items used in quests (Hops, Bear Meat and the like) say which quest needs them and how many ("Need 3, you have 2"). They have a soft blue edge in your bags.
- Quest items for quests you've already done, or that are now too low for you, say "You no longer need it: fine to sell."
- Gear and loot tips also land in your Loot chat tab.

### Quests
- Click-to-use quest item buttons on the ScryWoW Quests tab. No more digging through your bags.
- Mobs your quests still need get a quest icon on their name plate and target frame. This includes mobs that drop quest items, like Rusty Harvest Golems.
- Plan steps like Hogger now tick off properly.
- The tips panel now sits beside the sidebar instead of over the minimap. It no longer tells you to leave your starting zone.
- Supply reminders: arrows and a low-ammo warning for Hunters, water for casters, Soul Shards for Warlocks.

### XP bar
- Zone look-aheads after the gold "ready to turn in" fill:
  - **green** shows what the quests you already have here are worth;
  - **grey** shows what's left to pick up in this zone.
- Each colour has its own switch and opacity slider. Quests too low for you aren't counted.

### Map
- **Flight paths:** flight masters you haven't learned yet get a pulsing green glow. Open any flight map once per character so ScryWoW knows which ones you have. `/scry flights` checks it.
- **Vendor pins:** general goods, food and drink, profession and fishing supplies, bartenders, cooks, weapons, armor, ammo, wands and bags. Turn them on or off with the new "Vendors" box.

### Sidebar and menu
- Move the sidebar: hold the ≡ tab and drag. "Reset sidebar position" in the ≡ menu puts it back.
- A search box at the top of the ≡ menu finds any setting.
- Every setting on the website now has a matching switch in the in-game menu.
- **Maintenance** in the ≡ menu has:
  - Turn all features on or off, and Undo.
  - Two presets: Standard new player and Standard veteran.
  - Save and load your own settings profiles, also with `/scry settings save|load|delete`.

### Website link
- Your valuable items list now syncs both ways with scrywow.com, and the flight paths you've found show on the website.
- Dates from the website's calendar (stress test, name reservation, launch, raids) come with your plan:
  - a list beside the game's Calendar;
  - a reminder at login when something is under a week away;
  - `/scry dates` to see them all.

### Chat and social
- "Buffs please?" in the right-click menu politely whispers a Mage, Priest, Druid or Paladin for their buff.

### Scenic view
- Scenic view turns on when you go AFK. This is now on by default whatever preset you pick.
- Also hides the Cooldown Manager and your pet's name plate, with switches to keep either.

### Camping
- Hover a camp object at someone's campfire to see what it does and whether it's one of the best for your spec.

### Fixes
- Fixed the "ScryWoW has been blocked from an action" message at login.
- Recent attackers now come from enemy name plates. Turn enemy name plates on for it to work.
- Flight path detection reworked to match how the Forever client reports flight nodes.
