SaybrockUI

The addon improves the game's standard interface instead of replacing it.

It lets you adjust what the game itself doesn't, keeping the familiar look. It adds useful extras: a distance indicator on enemies, the druid's mana in forms and more. Each tweak is switched on and off on its own.

What it does

Dark theme

Dark frames and borders all over the interface: unit frames, action bars, minimap, chat, tooltips, nameplates and the game's windows. One brightness slider sets how dark it is.

Unit frames

• Health bars in class and reaction colors, names in class color
• The most important aura covers the portrait: crowd control first, then big defensives
• Absorbs drawn over a full health bar
• Clean bar numbers: current value only, shortened (12.5K)
• Hide what you don't need: rest and combat glow, PvP badges, group number, leader crowns
• Threat percent: size and position
• Druid: your mana bar stays under your frame in bear and cat form
• Improved combo points

Nameplates

• Distance indicator: a colored marker shows how far an enemy is, based on your class's abilities
• Combat icon on enemies that are in combat
• Crowd control on the left, combo points under your target's nameplate

Buffs and debuffs

• Target and focus: debuffs first, yours first in each group, time on your own auras
• Buffs you can dispel or steal glow blue
• Dark borders on auras

Action bars

• Fade the main bar's art and the button frames, an inner shadow on icons
• Hide keybind text and macro names
• Hide the stance, pet and totem bar buttons (the abilities still work)
• Micro menu and bag bar: faded, or only on mouseover
• Experience and status bars only on mouseover

Minimap

• Move or hide its buttons: tracking, calendar, clock, mail, dungeon difficulty
• Tracking types on right-click, calendar on middle-click
• Zone bar without its border and background
• The objective tracker's and damage meter's collapse buttons on the minimap

Chat

• A compact button row, chat copy
• Input box above the chat
• Tab order kept; save your tabs and load them on any other character
• Short channel names

And more

• Mute the red error messages (the useful ones still show)
• Damage numbers size
• Health bar inside the tooltip
• Edit Mode: move things past the screen edges

Profiles

All settings live in a profile. Each character has its own; new characters start with Default. Profiles can be copied, reset, exported as a line of text and imported from one.

Preset SaybrockUI

A minimalist interface: everything that distracts from the game is hidden or shows only on mouseover, while all the functionality stays in place.

It's the addon author's own interface setup, in two parts: the profile SaybrockUI holds the addon's settings, and its Edit Mode layout holds where the bars and frames stand.

To use it: open the addon's main page in the settings, pick the profile SaybrockUI (the interface reloads), then copy the layout and paste it in Edit Mode with Import.

Getting started

Open the settings with /sui, the button on the minimap, or Esc > Options > AddOns > SaybrockUI.

Languages: English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian.

Good to know

• Some settings take effect after reloading the interface: their tooltip says so, and the settings window has a Reload button next to Close.
• The addon is made for WoW Forever only.
• If the addon is marked out of date after a game update, tick "Load out of date AddOns" in the AddOns list.
