SARETHÏ CODEX

Sarethï Codex is a French profession assistant designed specifically for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary.

It started as a personal project and is now being shared publicly following requests from other players. Many thanks to the members of the Éternel guild on Thunderstrike (EU), who tested its many versions and features. Their feedback greatly helped shape and improve the addon.

Sarethï Codex does more than display a fixed checklist. It compares an ideal profession route with the materials already available across your characters. It explains what you can craft now, what must be collected, where recipes can be obtained, and what should be prepared for the next steps.

MAIN FEATURES

• Complete 1–375 routes for all 13 TBC professions and gathering skills.
• Ideal and stock-aware routes with three configurable progression policies.
• Bags, bank and mail tracking, separated by realm and faction.
• Optional Syndicator integration for extended account-wide inventory data.
• Unknown random world-drop recipes are excluded from automatic recommendations.
• Trainers, vendors, quests and deterministic recipe sources are displayed as actionable acquisition steps.
• Gathering and fishing locations include coordinates and optional navigation.
• Target levels, danger warnings and estimated drop rates are displayed when reliable data is available.
• Safer alternatives can be recommended when a target is too dangerous for the current character.
• Shopping list, objective tracker and detailed component information.
• Lightweight event-driven updates, targeted caches and optimized list rendering.

SUPPORTED INTEGRATIONS

• TomTom — optional waypoint and navigation arrow provider.
• Questie — optional navigation support.
• Syndicator — optional extended inventory source.

No dependency is required. Sarethï Codex remains usable when these addons are absent.

COMMANDS

• /codex — open or close the main window.
• /codex icone — show or hide the minimap button.
• /codex version — display the community version-check status.
• /codex version test — query Codex users in the current group and guild.

LANGUAGES

The user interface is currently available in French.

English and German versions are planned.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Gathering coordinates represent practical reference areas rather than guaranteed individual spawn points.

Drop rates are displayed only when sufficiently documented. When the information is uncertain, Codex explicitly indicates that the rate has not been consolidated.

CurseForge manages installation and external updates. The in-game version protocol only informs players when another Codex user is running a newer version.

DATA AND PRIVACY

Profession routes and source data have been reviewed against established TBC reference databases and profession guides.

Sarethï Codex does not collect personal information and does not perform Internet requests from inside World of Warcraft.
