Version 2.3.3 — Patch 12.1 Compatibility Fix

Fixes

  • Fixed target names not displaying correctly for enemy players in arenas.

  • Restored class-colored target names in arenas.

  • Fixed compatibility with the new protected/secret unit information introduced with Patch 12.1.

  • Pet targets continue to display correctly.

  • Updated addon compatibility for WoW 12.1.0.

What happened?

Patch 12.1 introduced additional restrictions around unit information available to addons, which caused player target names and class colors to stop working correctly in arenas.

Blizzard continues to tighten addon API restrictions and reduce the amount of information addons are allowed to access, so Skide TargetName has been updated to work within the new limitations.

Everything should now function as intended again. :)
