Sanctuary

Anti-harassment and anti-spam protection for World of Warcraft. Sanctuary blocks invitations, messages, whispers and other toxic interactions from harmful players before they can bother you.

How it works

By default, only the players you know can contact you: your guild, your friends, your current group and the names you allow. Everyone else is blocked, silently: no window, no message, no sound. A second mode lets everyone through except the players you block, by name or by pattern. A pattern is a piece of a name: enough to block a whole family of characters.

What Sanctuary can block

• group and guild invitations
• whispers from WoW characters (never Battle.net ones)
• duels and trades
• /say, /yell and emotes
• spam in the public channels: a repeated message from a stranger appears only once

The Journal (optional)

Everything that was blocked can be recorded with the time, the type and the message. A repeated spam counts once, with its number of repeats. Copy the journal in one click to report a problem.

Setup in one minute

Click the Sanctuary icon around the minimap, or type /sanc. The main screen asks five questions and that is all there is to configure.
