Sagalore

Sagas for you and your group. A saga is a custom-made chain of objectives (kills, items, places, levels) that you play together in-game. Join a saga, follow your progress in the saga log, and see who finishes first: the clock starts at the first kill and stops when the first character completes it. Or play a saga written for your own character's lore.

🧪 Early alpha (v0.1.x). So far Sagalore has only been tested on macOS and WoW Classic. It should work on Windows and the other WoW versions too, but expect rough edges, and please report bugs on GitHub.

⚠️ The Sagalore companion app is REQUIRED

The addon cannot reach the internet by itself (no WoW addon can). The small companion app logs you in with Battle.net, fetches your sagas and keeps the addon in sync. Download it at sagalore.app or from GitHub releases (Windows and macOS).

Getting started

1. Install this addon.
2. Download and run the companion app, and log in with Battle.net.
3. Join a saga (or create one at sagalore.app) and press sync.
4. In game, /reload and open the saga log from the minimap button.

Features

• Saga log with objectives and progress in-game
• Group races with a per-character timer
• Custom sagas only, nothing pre-made: write your own with AI at sagalore.app
• Supports WoW: Forever, Classic Era and more

Free & open source

The addon, the companion app and the API are free and open source (GitHub). You can run your own server, or use the hosted one at api.sagalore.app.

Privacy

• You sign in with Battle.net. Sagalore never sees your password.
• Character data (name, realm, class, level) comes only from Battle.net.
• The companion reads the WoW chat log for saga progress. It never sends keystrokes to the game.

Notes

The unsigned app may show a security warning the first time (Windows: "More info → Run anyway"; macOS: right-click → Open).
