Runkey

RunKey is a lightweight party utility for Mythic+ that shows your group's interrupt and stun cooldowns at a glance — so you always know who can kick or CC next.

What's included (v1.0.0)

Party interrupt & stun tracker — icons for each party member's relevant abilities
Live cooldown tracking — uses current WoW APIs (Midnight / 12.0)
Automatic party talent detection — inspects talents so icons appear without waiting for the first cast
Mythic+ focused — shown in M+ by default; hidden in raids; optional open-world display
Fully customizable bar — layout (vertical/horizontal), icon size/spacing, name font/size, outline, shadow, highlights, scale, opacity, and more
Test mode — preview the bar with sample data
Blizzard Settings integration — configure everything in-game under Settings → AddOns → RunKey
Slash commands — /rk for help, /rk settings, /rk toggle, /rk move, /rk test

How tracking works (Midnight 12.1)

WoW Midnight changed what addons can read in M+, raids, and encounters. RunKey uses a layered approach:

1. Your character — native spell cooldown API (most reliable)

2. RunKey users in your group — addon message sync when they cast (`partySync`, on by default)

3. Other party members — mob-side interrupt detection + exclusion logic (best effort)

4. Aura lockout hints — school-based filtering when data is available

**Important:** 100% accurate party interrupt tracking for every player without RunKey is not possible under current Blizzard API rules. RunKey is transparent about uncertainty instead of showing wrong numbers.

Stun tracking : in M+ is most reliable when party members also use RunKey.

Planned

RunKey is built as a Mythic+ and raid utility toolkit. More encounter-focused tools for M+ and raids are planned in future updates.
