🎯 Overview

RGX | Runescape Level-Up! brings an Old School RuneScape-inspired level-up jingle to World of Warcraft, replacing the default ding with a clean nostalgic RPG-style level-up hit.

✨ Features

🎵 RuneScape Sound - An Old School RuneScape-inspired level-up sound plays every time you gain a level.

🎚️ Quality Options - Switch between High, Medium, and Low quality variants.

🔇 Smart Muting - Auto-mutes WoW's default level-up sound so you only hear RSLU.

💬 Login Message - A branded RSLU login message appears on login and can be toggled on or off.

💾 Persistent Settings - Settings are saved between sessions.

⚡ Lightweight - Minimal footprint — no embedded libraries required.

🎮 Multi-Version - Includes support for Retail, Wrath, Burning Crusade, and Classic Era.

Note: All quality variants are included — no additional downloads required.

📋 Command Reference

The addon can be managed using the following slash commands:

/rslu help # Show all available commands
/rslu test # Play test sound
/rslu enable # Enable the addon
/rslu disable # Disable the addon
/rslu welcome # Toggle login message
/rslu high # Use high quality sound
/rslu med # Use medium quality sound (default)
/rslu low # Use low quality sound

📥 Installation

Download RGX | RSLU from your preferred platform:
Extract to your WoW Interface/AddOns directory for your version:
- Retail WoW: World of Warcraft/retail/Interface/AddOns
- Classic/Wrath: World of Warcraft/classic/Interface/AddOns
- Classic Era: World of Warcraft/classic_era/Interface/AddOns
Restart WoW and enable the addon in the AddOns menu.

🛠️ Configuration Tips

### Default Settings: ``lua enabled = true -- Addon is active soundVariant = "medium" -- Medium quality sound muteDefault = true -- WoW's default sound is muted showWelcome = true -- Show welcome message on login volume = "Master" -- Volume channel ``

### Recommended Setup:

First Launch: Try /rslu test to verify sound is working

Quality: Use high for the most authentic OSRS experience

Volume: If the sound is too loud, switch to med or low

Welcome: Toggle login message with /rslu welcome

🔧 Troubleshooting

No sound playing?

Run /rslu test to verify installation and sound playback

Check that your in-game Master volume is not muted

Settings not saving?

Ensure WoW has write permissions to its SavedVariables folder
