Roster is a raid organisation and loot council addon for guilds that plan their raids on the free Roster website.
The interface follows your game client's language (English or French); you can also choose one in Options.
What it does Raid composition and invites: paste the composition prepared on the website, invite everyone (Name-Realm) and sort the raid groups in one click. Addon check: see who runs Roster and which version, and whisper the others in one click. Attendance and loot log: during a scheduled raid, Roster records who is in the raid every minute, loot from a chosen quality and every boss encounter. The summary goes back to the website. Loot distribution, in the spirit of a loot council: group loot goes to the loot master (the raid leader by default), and the other players pass automatically; council: each player answers BiS, Upgrade, Off-spec, Transmog or Pass, along with the items they have equipped in that slot; players without the addon can whisper "bis", "up", "os", "transmog" or "pass"; council members vote; rolls: MS (/roll 100) before OS (/roll 99), with re-rolls for ties only; a free roll; or the loot master keeps the item (disenchant, guild bank); all the items of a boss can go to the council at once, with a strip to switch between them; players can only ask for items they can use (exact armour type); the council sees how many items each player has already received (BiS, Upgrade, MS rolls); winners are announced in raid chat and whispered, and their items are placed in the trade window automatically. Test raid: /roster test runs a simulated raid on your own, to try every step. How it works with the website
WoW addons have no internet access, so data travels by copy and paste:
On the website, click "Copier pour le jeu". In game, type /roster, open the Sync tab and press Ctrl+V. After the raid, copy the summary from the Sync tab (Ctrl+C) and paste it on any page of the website (Ctrl+V).
A key binding and the minimap button open a small quick sync window for both steps.
Commands /roster: open or close the window /roster loot: loot master window /roster handover: items to trade to their winners /roster versions: who has the addon, and which version /roster test: test raid /roster language: interface language (fr, en or auto) Français
