RoosterLoot Version 1.4.1

Version 1.4.1 is RoosterLoot's Optimization Accuracy Update, introducing the new Rooster Core Database (RCD) to power more intelligent gear recommendations across the addon.

Rather than adding new features, this update focuses on making existing systems significantly smarter, more consistent, and more trustworthy.

New - Rooster Core Database (RCD)

Added the new Rooster Core Database (RCD), a centralized optimization database that now powers RoosterLoot's recommendation systems.

RCD includes support for all 34 Mists of Pandaria Classic specializations.

The database contains:

• Specialization profiles
• Stat priorities
• Hit and Expertise caps
• WoWSims EP values
• Best-in-Slot references
• Gem recommendations
• Meta gem recommendations
• Enchant recommendations
• Belt buckle recommendations
• Alternative enchant support

This allows every optimization system inside RoosterLoot to reference a single authoritative source instead of maintaining separate recommendation tables.

RoosterScore Improvements

RoosterScore has been significantly improved.

New optimization includes:

• WoWSims-inspired EP weighting
• Projected character optimization
• Better overall gear evaluation
• Improved upgrade and downgrade arrows
• Better handling of lower item level Best-in-Slot pieces
• Tier set awareness
• Hit and Expertise cap awareness
• Improved specialization accuracy
• Better overall recommendation consistency

Gear recommendations are now based on projected optimization instead of simple item level comparisons.

Raid Audit Improvements

Raid Audit now uses the Rooster Core Database.

Improvements include:

• More accurate enchant recommendations
• More accurate gem recommendations
• Better specialization awareness
• Better optimization guidance
• Improved consistency with RoosterScore
• Better handling of alternative enchants

Endgame Guide Improvements

The Endgame Guide now references the same optimization database used by Raid Audit and RoosterScore.

This ensures:

• Consistent recommendations
• Matching stat priorities
• Matching enchant recommendations
• Matching gem recommendations
• Unified Best-in-Slot guidance

Optimization Improvements

Improved handling of:

• Best-in-Slot recognition
• Lower item level BiS gear
• Alternative enchant recommendations

User Interface

Improved optimization tooltips to better explain why an item is recommended.

Additional tooltip improvements will continue in future releases.

Optimization data has been verified using multiple community resources, including:
