RonyUI — a compact interface for WoW Forever

Dark wood and stitched leather panels with gold borders. RonyUI brings action bars, character frames, quest information and useful tools into a consistent layout with readable text and easy access to settings.

First login

Choose English, Czech or German and select your UI scale preset. The welcome screen introduces the Adventure Guide and its /rony guide command. Three action rows are included in the default layout. For Rogues and Druids, the middle row is the primary action bar and follows native stealth and form changes.

Follow your adventures

• Adventure Guide for dungeons, raids, professions, PvP and faction rewards.
• Rare quest chains show progress for the character you are playing: green for completed, yellow for unfinished and red for insufficient level.
• Quest-start map links when coordinates are available, plus quest reward previews.
• Level 0/1 special quests appear at the end of the list.
• Shift-click items and quests in the guide to link them in chat.
• Narrow, right-aligned quest tracker with scrolling, adjustable width and height, quest-item buttons and a transparent background.

Make the layout yours

• Settings with categories, section tabs, search and live previews.
• Combined Edit Mode and RonyUI movers; Quick Bind is always available in the settings footer.
• Compact player and target frames with timed buffs, debuffs, stacks and configurable countdowns. Permanent buffs stay in the native top display.
• Player buffs start above the health bar in one row and stop before the separate right-side debuff column.
• Shorter party frames without portraits, an optional player row, class-dispellable group debuffs based on learned spells, and assigned Tank/Healer role icons.
• Enemy player nameplates share the enemy creature style.
• Wood inventory with gold borders, adjustable grid columns, native search and money footer. Drag the + handle with the left mouse button to move it; its position is saved.
• Equipment enchant summaries and inventory helpers.

Installation

Install through the CurseForge app to install both required companions: Questie and AzerothCompendium (Forever) for dungeon maps. For manual ZIP or offline installer installation, install both separately and extract RonyUI into Interface/AddOns. Enable the addons at character selection and log in. Open settings with /rony, the guide with /rony guide, or restore the supplied layout with /rony reset. The 0.2.0-beta5 update applies the new factory UI profile once on first login. The personal resource bar starts disabled. RonyUI saves your previous UI profile and retains key bindings and account inventory caches; later preference changes remain saved.

Compatibility and beta notes

Built for WoW Forever (Interface 16001). Other WoW branches are not supported. Questie retains its tracking engine. Some guide data is a Classic fallback and may differ from Forever content. Combat data and map coordinates depend on the client API.

The public release uses client fonts, icons and available map art, plus RonyUI's custom guide frame/button art. It does not bundle private-use third-party floor maps, external cover screenshots or other addons' runtime code. Dungeon floor maps are supplied by the required AzerothCompendium addon through its public API; install its Forever version.
