Roleybones Invemtory Tracker

Tracker all your alts inventory on a small memory consuming add-on.

Description
Roleybones Inventory Tracker (RIT) is a lightweight, zero-configuration data utility tailored specifically for your Classic progression journey. Instead of clunky, heavy database addons that bog down your loading screens and consume precious memory, RIT stays completely dormant until you need it, managing your entire realm's economy from a single slash command.

Whether you are looking for that specific crafting catalyst lost on a level 1 bank alt, verifying your total pool of raw gold across multiple raiding characters, or optimizing your auction house distributions, RIT builds an instantaneous dashboard directly into your game client.

Key Features
Multi-Character Wealth Tracking: Instantly reviews names and total gold balances for every logged alt on your current server.

Aggregated Real-Time Search: Filters through massive item hoards using simple name queries, calculating a server-wide Grand Total instantly.

Deep-Storage Location Audits: One click breaks down inventory down to the specific character holding it and identifies if it is sitting in active bags or tucked away inside the bank vault.

Passive Engine Footprint: No heavy performance pipelines running while you are out in the world fighting bosses or clearing dungeons.

User Guide
Using Roleybones Inventory Tracker is simple, but because of how the World of Warcraft game client handles secure character information, there are a couple of small mechanics to keep in mind to ensure your data stays perfectly accurate.

1. Initial Account Synchronization
When you first install the addon, your central database will be completely blank. The game client prevents addons from knowing what an alt is holding until you log into that character at least once.

Log into each of your characters on the server sequentially.

As soon as you enter the world, the addon automatically catalogs that character's current gold totals and active inventory bag slots (0 through 4).

2. Populating Bank Data
By default, the World of Warcraft server infrastructure hides your bank contents while you are away from a major city. To track bank vaults safely:

Walk up to any standard banker NPC on your character.

Right-click the banker to open your storage window.

The moment the bank frame opens, RIT completes a total audit of your main vault slots (-1) and your bank bag slots (5 through 11).

Any items you deposit, withdraw, or shift around while talking to the banker are updated in your save file instantly.

3. Interface Commands
The entire utility is driven by a single fast command. Type this into your chat box and hit enter:

/rit

The Visual Panels
Viewing Wealth: Typing /rit with no other text opens up the central visual panel frame. You can left-click and drag this window anywhere on your monitor. It will cleanly list your character names and their gold balances side-by-side.

Searching Items: Click inside the top text box field and begin typing an item name (e.g., Netherweave or Primal). The dashboard instantly shifts to show a summary row:
Total: 45x [Netherweave Cloth]

Locating Assets: Left-click on that item row directly inside your visual panel frame. The addon will instantly output a clear breakdown directly to your private chat window detailing exactly who has it:
Location Breakdown for [Netherweave Cloth]:
  Roleybones: 20x in Bags
  AltCharacter: 25x in Bank

4. Resetting Your Ledger Data
If you delete a character, rename an alt, or want to completely wipe out your records to start clean, you can reset the addon data by deleting its save file while logged completely out of the game client.

Navigate to your installation path and delete this file:
World of Warcraft\_classic_\WTF\Account\YOUR_ACCOUNT_NAME\SavedVariables\RoleybonesInventoryTracker.lua
