Rockin' Comix Sound Pack V. 1.1
Changes between V 1.0 to V 1.1
All of the sounds have been greatly shortened for added convienence and to prevent overlaping.
The file size has been reduced 75%.
VERY IMPORTANT!
This pack requires Si36's "Comix" add-on for World of Warcraft.
You must follow the instalation guide in the description below or in the Text file included with the Add-on. Because of the way the add-on works, it can't be done automaticaly. Sorry for the inconvienence, but this is currently the only way.
What it does
The purpose of this sound pack is to change some of the sounds in Si63's popular "Comix" add-on for World of Warcraft.
Description of whats included
- 12 new zone sounds. (Updated!)
- 1 new death sounds. (Updated!)
- Updated .lua file for the sounds.
Installation
New Users
The instalation of this pack is different from other add-ons.
1. Right click the "RCSPSounds" file included in the Rockin' Comix Sound Pack. Select copy. then go into the original Comix's files. go into sounds. Right click in a blank spot in the list of files. Select Paste.
2. Make a backup copy of the original Comix sounds .lua file (file located at: Worldofwarcraft/interface/addons/Comix/sounds. should be the file at the bottom)and make sure its safe. If you ever want to go back to using the old sounds, you must change the .lua file to the original.
3. replace the original sounds.lua file in the Comix files (file located at: Worldofwarcraft/interface/addons/Comix/sounds. should be the file at the bottom) with the new one in the sounds pack.
4. Play World of Warcraft. if you have followed the steps correctly, it should work. You only need to enable Comix for the sounds to work.
Previous Users
1. Delete the old zone sounds and the death sound in the Comix folder (file located at: Worldofwarcraft/interface/addons/Comix/sounds/Zonesounds or deathsounds)
2. Copy and paste the new sounds in their respective folders.
Known issues
Some songs may play more often than others. As far as i can tell, there is nothing i can do about that.
