Rifen Seller Filter: track your Auction House competitors
If you sell on the Auction House, you need to know what your competitors are charging. Rifen Seller Filter lets you pick any seller and see only their listings of an item. It adds a seller search box and a seller column to the item buy view, the screen you reach after clicking an item in Browse.
Features
- Filter by seller. A “Seller:” box sits next to the Back button. Type any part of a competitor’s name, such as “rawen” or “jan”, and the list shows only their listings of that item, with prices. Matching is case-insensitive and works on partial names.
- Seller column. Every listing shows its seller’s name in a wide column on the right. Normally the Auction House only shows the seller if you hover over a row, so spotting who is selling what takes much longer.
- Finds listings far down the list. The Auction House normally loads listings in batches as you scroll. While a filter is active, the addon keeps loading the remaining listings, so a competitor’s auctions appear even when they are buried deep in the list.
- Compare against yourself. Type your character’s name to see your own listings of the item, then filter for a competitor and compare the two views.
- Clear button. One click resets the filter. Leaving the item or closing the Auction House also clears it.
How it changes your experience
Say you sell a piece of gear and want to know whether a rival is undercutting you. Open the item, type their name, and you immediately see how many they have listed and at what prices. Do the same for each competitor, item by item, to see who is pricing low, who is flooding the market, and where there’s room to raise your price. A quick check before you post your auctions takes seconds.
