RFMidnightFix stands for Raid frames Midnight fix, essentially what it does is fix opacity regardless of range from your group and remove added clutter that came with the midnight expansion.
The addon forces the raid frames to stay at 100% opacity so it wont grey out regardless of your range towards your group member.
It also removes all the new clutter that came with midnight except for the buffs/debuffs.
There are other addons that does the same thing but this is a lightwell addon that was specificly created to make the midnight raid frames look as close to the war within version of the raid frames.
