RestZoneMusic replaces the default ambient audio of the World of Warcraft client exclusively within rest areas. The addon monitors the character's status and, upon detecting entry into inns or capital cities, suppresses the base auditory environment to initiate the playback of specific tracks from its internal catalog.
This alters the user experience by imposing a strict acoustic segregation between combat/exploration zones and downtime spaces, eliminating auditory fatigue caused by the prolonged music loops of major cities. Leaving the rest area coordinates immediately stops the custom track and restores the game's standard audio behavior without latency.
The project includes a configuration interface module that provides adjustable parameters to define volume, playback frequencies, and track filtering. This technical modification ensures that the rest phase is sensorially isolated and controlled by the variables established in the user menu.
