Important notice: Starting with this update, Remaining XP now requires its dependency, Widget Tools to be installed separately. It is no longer bundled in. Read about why this change was made here.
New:
- Added Midnight 12.0.5, Mists of Pandaria 5.5.3, The Burning Crusade 2.5.5 & Classic 1.15.8 support.
- Added new display positioning options allowing for more fine-tuning.
- Positioning visual aids have been added via Widget Tools (a foundational addon, also developed by me, Remaining XP is built with). Toggle the use of visual aids in the Widget Tools settings.
- Added new display text coloring options, now the XP value coloring can be fully customized (more Font customization options are coming in future updates).
- Default settings values are now displayed for every setting in their mouseover tooltips.
- Right-clicking settings opens a menu to revert changes made, restore default values individually or copy & paste specific values to be able to easily move them across similar types of settings.
- Widget Tools Lite mode can now be enabled in the Widget Tools addon settings (or via the /wt lite chat command) to save on loading settings UI for addons using Widget Tools.
Changes:
- The look of checkboxes & settings pages have been updated to match the new settings style.
- The look of settings number sliders have been updated to match the new Blizzard sliders but keeping every enhanced functionality as usual for addons built with Widget Tools Toolboxes.
- Font files have been moved to the Widget Tools addon, Remaining XP is built on. The custom font file named CUSTOM.ttf should now be placed in the main Fonts folder right inside the WoW client folder.
- Adjusted the appearance of the Reload notice window.
- Readded the ability to open specific settings pages from the display right-click menus.
- Significant number of other under the hood changes & improvements.
Note: See Widget Tools changelog for further under the hood changes.
Thank you all for the help, suggestions & bug reports! If you encounter any issues, do not hesitate to report them! Try including when & how they occur, and which other addons are you using (when relevant) to give me the best chance of being able to reproduce & fix them. Try proving any Lua script error messages and taint logs (if you know how).
