RegionQuests

Keep your quest tracker focused on where you're adventuring.

RegionQuests filters your quest tracker to show accepted quests with objectives in your current area. Spend less time searching through your quest log and more time questing!

Choose your area

• Current region: Show quests for your current zone.
• Surrounding regions: Include your current zone and immediately neighboring zones.
• Current continent: Show relevant quests across your current continent.
  Inside a dungeon or raid, RegionQuests automatically focuses on that instance. Completed quest follow their turn-in destination.

Customize your tracker

• Only show tracked quests: Optionally restrict the list to quests marked as tracked in your quest log. Disabled by default.
• Maximum quests: Set a limit, or use 0 for unlimited.
• Sort by Status: Place completed quests at the bottom, or reverse the order to put them first.
• Sory by Level: Order quests from lowest to highest level, or highest to lowest.
• Include unknown locations: Choose whether quests without usable location data should appear.
  When both sorting options are enabled, quests are grouped by completion status, then sorted by level within each group.

Simple controls

Type /rq or /regionquests to open settings.

The draggable minimap button provides quick access:

• Left-click: Open settings.
• Right-click: Toggle location filtering.

Settings are saved per character. RegionQuests preserves your saved quest tracking choices, and disabling filtering restores normal tracker behavior.

Compatibility and beta notes

Built for World of Warcraft: Forever beta. Uses Blizzard's quest tracker and has been tested to work with the EllesmereUI tracker skin, and adds compatibility with Questie through the optional RegionQuests - Questie Support module.

Both RegionQuests modules appear under Quests in the AddOn list. Enable the Questie Support module when using Questie's tracker. Questie's map pins, database, and tracking choices remain unchanged.

No quest-database AddOn is required. Bundled location data supplements the game's destination information for Classic dungeons and raids, plus supported new Forever beta dungeons.

Location coverage depends on available game and database information; some quests may have missing or imcomplete destinations. Blizzard's tracker space limits still apply. Sorting and selection changes made during combat take place after combat ends.

When using Questie's tracker, Questie's own tracking and visibility settings also apply. The Only show tracked quests option adds no further restriction in this mode.

For troubleshooting, /rq debug prints location evidence and selection details locally.
