Real Azeroth

What it does

Real Azeroth adds a quiet layer of realism to retail World of Warcraft. Your rotation does not change. The world just stops feeling like a spreadsheet.

Atmosphere

• Time-of-day grading. Deep blue at night, warm gold at dawn and dusk, close to neutral at midday. It follows the realm clock and eases between states instead of snapping.
• Per-zone drift. Every zone gets a small color and intensity offset, so a desert does not read like a snowfield.
• Low-health vignette. The edges of the screen close in red below 45% health and tighten further under 20%.

Calm UI

• Action bars, minimap, chat, unit frames and the objective tracker fade away when you are idle and out of combat, and come back the moment you move, hover, or enter combat.
• Cinematics get letterboxed bars.

Less HUD noise

• Floating combat text and damage numbers off.
• Action camera off, with a tighter maximum camera distance.
• Screen glow and bloom reduced.

Commands

• /ra opens the settings panel
• /ra on and /ra off master switch
• /ra status prints every toggle and its state
• /ra config opens options

Install

Unzip into World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns\ so that RealAzeroth.toc sits directly inside the RealAzeroth folder, then restart the client or type /reload.

Notes

Retail only, built against the Midnight client. Every feature is individually toggleable, and the addon stores nothing except its own SavedVariables.
