ReagentSmartPrice is a lightweight, zero-configuration addon designed to help you find the most profitable and smart pricing levels for commodities and reagents on the region-wide Auction House in World of Warcraft.

💡 How It Works & Why You Need It

When you select a commodity on the "Sell" tab, a clean side panel automatically appears to the right of the Auction House frame, showing calculated smart price levels. These levels represent strategic market shelves backed by significant wall volumes.

• If you are not in a hurry to sell instantly: This addon helps you discover higher price brackets where your items can be sold for much more gold once the current cheaper stock clears out.
• If you prefer fast listings at the minimum price: This addon will still boost your profits. Its lowest suggested price optimizes your positioning right at the front line of the first major volume wall. This ensures you get maximum priority so your auctions are bought out first, while capturing extra gold (though sometimes it may naturally match the absolute market minimum).

📊 Understanding the Display Columns

1. First Column (Price): The recommended gold price. Clicking on any row instantly sets this exact price in your Auction House listing fields.
2. Second Column (Quantity Before): The total number of items currently posted on the Auction House at a price lower than this row. This is your "supply barrier"—the volume that needs to be bought out before buyers reach your price tier.
3. Third Column (Percentage Before): The volume of that supply barrier represented as a percentage of the total quantity of this item on the Auction House.

⚠️ A Note on the Core Algorithm

The model under the hood is entirely data-driven and universal. Because every single reagent market behaves differently, you might occasionally notice two distinct edge cases:

• Skipped Levels: You might spot an intermediate price shelf with some volume that the addon chose to ignore.
• Minor Tiers: On some low-value or cheap items, the addon might display a price row that feels too minor or insignificant to you.

Both scenarios are a deliberate design choice. Forcing the algorithm to perfectly lock onto every micro-shelf on one specific item would cause it to generate dozens of weak, redundant price lines on highly liquid global markets, completely cluttering your interface. While the model is not theoretically flawless for every unique edge case, it is highly optimized for daily practical use to simplify your auctioning routine without overwhelming you with data.
