ReadyNotifier

ReadyNotifier alerts you when your abilities become available again.

When a spell finishes its cooldown or a charge is restored, ReadyNotifier displays a clear on-screen notification so you never miss the moment your abilities are ready.

The addon automatically detects abilities as you use them. No spell setup or manual spell lists required.

Important Requirement

ReadyNotifier currently depends on Blizzard's Cooldown Manager / Cooldown Viewer system.

For the addon to function correctly, Blizzard's Cooldown Manager must be enabled and visible.

If the Cooldown Manager is hidden, disabled, or not showing the relevant tracked abilities, ReadyNotifier may not detect cooldowns correctly.

If cooldown notifications are not working:

1. Make sure Blizzard's Cooldown Manager is enabled
2. Make sure it is visible on your UI
3. Confirm the ability you are testing actually appears there when used

This requirement is especially important on current Alpha and Beta builds.

• Move the notification anchor using Blizzard Edit Mode
• Optionally hide notifications while Edit Mode is open

Compatibility

ReadyNotifier is designed around Blizzard's current cooldown systems.

It is most reliable when used with:

• Blizzard default UI
• Blizzard Cooldown Manager / Cooldown Viewer enabled and visible

Action bar addons may still work for normal gameplay, but ReadyNotifier's cooldown detection is based on Blizzard's cooldown display system rather than scanning action bars directly.

Debugging / Bug Reports

If you encounter an issue:

1. Install BugGrabber and BugSack
2. Reproduce the problem
3. Include the full error message and a description of what ability you tested
4. Confirm whether the spell appeared in Blizzard's Cooldown Manager when used
