RatedTracker Field Manual

In-game PvP reference for Battleground Blitz. Guides for all 9 Blitz maps, interactive maps, terminology, and macros, presented as a Field Manual tab inside Blizzard's Adventure Guide (Shift+J). Also opens with /rtfm.

Built as a companion to RatedTracker. The same guides are readable on a full screen in the PvP Hub at ratedtracker.com.

Each guide is split into chapters:

Overview

• Key Points: the few things that decide the match on that map
• Objectives: win condition, primary objective, and opening focus
• Recommended addons for that specific map
• Map type, match length, and loading-screen art

Map & Buffs

• Interactive map with scroll zoom, drag to pan, and reset
• Node, graveyard, buff, and rune pins with hover details
• Map Legend grouped into Objectives, Buffs & Runes, Graveyards & Spawns, and Other Points
• Buff and ability names carry the real in-game tooltip
• Silvershard Mines includes a toggle for the Alliance off-cart opening route
• Chapter list collapses so the map can use the full window

Strategy

• General strategy, opening splits, rotations, and mid and late game
• Written for 8v8 Blitz, not old-style rated battlegrounds

Role Responsibilities

• Tank, Healer, Melee, and Ranged, each with priorities, objectives, what to avoid, and advanced play
• Spec-specific notes where a spec changes the job

Tips & Mistakes

• Common mistakes and advanced tips per map

Role Filter

Pick Tank, Healer, Melee, or Ranged at the top of a guide and the Overview, Strategy, and Tips chapters add callouts for what that role does on that map.

Blitz Terminology

• 44 terms across objectives, buffs and runes, cooldowns, flag maps, roles, respawns, and strategy
• Flag map section covers carrier terms, callouts, flag mechanics, and flag strategy
• Skirmisher section explains the role and lists the specs that play it

Blitz Macros

• Alliance and Horde Battle Standard, mount, and Warlock gateway control
• Copy button puts the macro body in a box ready to paste into the macro editor
