Supported Versions
- 12.0.0
12.0.0.9
- Added a new link to add a waypoint to the next spawn rare NPC in the pre-patch event. You will see this link in the chat, beside the next spawn message.
- Updated loot tables for every rare NPC in the pre-patch.
- Updated french localizations (thanks to tbstunt3r).
- Updated simplified chinese localizations (thanks to LvWind).
12.0.0.8
- Now rare NPCs in the pre-patch respawn every 5 minutes.
- I have noticed that it isn't exactly 5 minutes, its between 4.50 and 5.50, so the timers displayed in the chat might not be completely accurate).
- Added support to the new pre-event of the Voice of the Eclipse.
- Fixed a LUA error in the explorer when filtering entities by missing achievements.
12.0.0.7
- Added support to all the layers for the rare NPCs in the Twilight Highlands. Before this patch if you hadn't advanced the campaign of that zone you wouldn't see the icons in the map.
12.0.0.6
- Now you will be able to see in the map the next rare NPC to spawn (it will remove every icon but that rare NPC and it will animate the icon).
- Now you can see what rare NPCs you are missing for the achievement when typing /rs midnight.
12.0.0.5
- Fixed an error with the timers displayed when typing /rs midnight, it wasn't taking into account the time zone.
- Now the times displayed should be more accurate, before this patch the addon was incorrectly recalculating the next spawn timer after killing the rare NPC, adding the delay between the time when it was found and the time when it was killed.
NOTE: You might have to detect a couple of rare NPCs so the addon fixes the internal database to the latest changes.
12.0.0.3
- Fixed an error with the new mapper of entities in maps with multiple verions/layers (for example The Maw), where the icons weren't showing in all the layers.
12.0.0.2
- Added a tweak to avoid an error where the explorer could hang while scanning for missing decors right after login into the game (it was working after doing a /reload though).
12.0.0.1
- Updated french localizations (thanks to tbstunt3r).
- Updated simplified chinese localizations (thanks to LvWind).
Hopefully pushing a new version will fix the issue in the curseforge client where apparently the addon doesn't show up as updated for some people.
12.0.0
- Updated addon for Midnight.
- This version includes the database for the new expansion, although it is missing certain things that I will finish adding in this month until the expansion is released.
- Added support to decors in the explorer.
- Added a new style for the explorer that matches Midnight UI.
- Added support to track new icons as the highest peaks.
- Added treasures in delves for Midnight (I missed these ones in TWW).
- Added a new option to the world map to show/hide containers by missing renown.
- Added a lot of performance improvements.
- As the database has grown so much in the latest expansions, the way the addon used to find entities for each map was introducing small delays when opening the world map, opening the filters panels, using the explorer, etc. I have added several improvements to remove that delay almost completely from every UI.
- Fixed an error that existed in the explorer since the first version where the map could render pixelated after re-opening the explorer or switching to another map.
- Added full support to the PVP chest. Now the addon will alert you to every single icon that appears when a PVP chest spawn (the plane, the flags and the treasure), and it will definetly be more sensitive to find it.
- Fixed#368: Starting with 11.1.7 the game doesn't allow to move frames while in combat.
- Updated russian localizations, thanks to Hollicsh.
- Other minor improvements/changes that now I don't remember :P
Midnight pre-patch
For this event I have added several new features that will help you track rare NPCs while the event is active:
- You can see in the tooltip of every event rare NPC the next spawn timer (only after you have found one in each session).
- These timers will be accurate as soon as you find 2 rare NPCs in the same session.
- You can use the command "/rs midnight" to print in the chat the list of rare NPCs and their next spawn timer.
12.0.0 and addon changes
RareScanner will work as it used to in TTW and before with these exceptions:
- Now the addon won't work in instances (raids, dungeons, delves, etc.). With the changes included by Blizzard in the latest version of the game the addon doesn't have access to detect anything in instances, however you can still see information in the world map and use the macro to manually track NPCs (you won't get the notification even targetting the NPC).
- Everything mentioned before also applies while in combat in the open world.
- Now the addon cannot send to the chat information related to the remaining health of targetted rare NPCs, so shared chat notifications won't include that information anymore.
