Ranksmith

Counts the spell ranks waiting at your trainer and shows the number on your minimap. One visit records everything that trainer will ever teach you, with the level and the price of each.

All future development targets WoW: Forever.

BLib is required, not optional. Ranksmith will not load without it. The launcher should fetch it alongside this addon; if it does not, install BLib by hand.

0.3.2 — your trainers, under your full name

  • Your trainer records are back. Forever's beta build 70009 started giving addons your first name without the surname, so Ranksmith filed you under a new name, forgot every trainer you had visited, and listed the old record as another character. It uses your full name again, the old records return, and anything recorded under the short name since the update is folded back in.
  • Beast Training is left alone. A hunter's pet trainer was read as class training, so pet abilities showed as spells waiting at a trainer, with their training-point cost shown as money, and its filters were forced open. It is skipped now. Records it already made cannot be told apart from real ones, so clear them with /rs forget.
  • A profession you don't have no longer counts as waiting. Opening a profession trainer, First Aid or Tailoring say, counted what it teaches as waiting to train, even the rank that would start the profession. Nothing from a profession trainer counts now until you know something it teaches. Open that trainer again to clear an old record.
  • The minimap tooltip fits on screen. With /rs future on it listed every spell, over 150 lines after a city trainer, and ran off the screen along with the click hints at its foot. It now shows at most 15 spells and says how many more there are; left-click shows the full list.
  • The minimap button's clicks do what they say. Right-click now always opens Coming up, and switches to Waiting only while Coming up is already on screen. Left-click and /rs always open on Waiting.
