You trained the new rank. Your bars didn't get the memo. Rank It Already swaps it in for you, and leaves your down-ranks alone.

Rank It Already 0.1.0
- When you learn a new rank of a spell, the rank you were using is replaced on your action bars. Lower ranks you put there on purpose stay.
- A chat line says what changed, and
/rankit undoputs the last upgrade back. - Nothing changes in combat: the upgrade waits until combat ends.
- Turn it off and on with
/rankit offand/rankit on, or on its page in Options > AddOns. - With Keystance installed, Rank It Already rests: Keystance does the same job itself.
