RandomSummon
RandomSummon is a small Warlock utility addon that makes summoning other players faster, easier, and a little more entertaining.
Simply target a player and click the RandomSummon button. The addon automatically casts Ritual of Summoning and randomly selects one of several humorous messages to announce the summon in /say.
Once the summon has successfully started, the addon also sends the summoned player a private whisper with a second random message.
Features
- One-click Ritual of Summoning — target a player and click the button.
- Random /say messages announcing the summon to nearby players.
- Random private whispers sent to the summoned player.
- Messages automatically include the target player's name.
- Humorous Warlock-themed and "magical airline" messages.
- Secure action button, compatible with WoW's combat restrictions.
- Movable button — hold Shift + Left Click and drag it to your preferred position.
- Lock / unlock the button to prevent accidental movement.
- Lightweight and simple — no configuration window or unnecessary interface elements.
How It Works
- Target the player you want to summon.
- Click the RandomSummon button.
- The addon automatically casts Ritual of Summoning.
- A random announcement is sent in /say.
- Once the spell succeeds, the target receives a random whisper.
The addon only sends the private whisper after detecting that the Ritual of Summoning was successfully cast, ensuring that players don't receive a "summon incoming" message when the cast never actually happened.
Slash Commands
/rsummon lock — Lock the button/rsummon unlock — Unlock the button
If /rsummon is used without a command, the button is displayed.
RandomSummon is designed to turn one of the most repetitive tasks for a Warlock into a quick, simple, and slightly ridiculous experience.
