HISTORICAL BACKGROUND:
I decided to develop this addon when I started playing World of Warcraft in 2004. At that time, the game client didn't have a built-in clock, and I wanted to add one. This led to the creation of the first version of RamzClock. However, a few months later, with the release of a game update, Blizzard introduced a standard clock that looked exactly like mine, but had a calendar. This could have led to the demise of RamzClock. But no way! Soon, a new version of RamzClock was released. It had support for 12 and 24 hour formats, and it also had a tracker for crafting cooldowns for all characters on your account. In this form, the addon was included in many fun addon packs and remained until the release of The Burning Crusade and later Wrath of Lich King, when I stopped playing regularly.
It's been twenty (OMG! 20!) years since the release of Ramzclock version 1.8.
It's 2026, and I've decided to give my addon a second life in the modern version of World of Warcraft Classic Era. The source code has been fully rewritten to match the API changes.
So, meet RamzClock Classic!
KEY FEATURES:
- In-game clock with support for 12 and 24 hour formats.
- Reminder feature, similar to the one currently present in the standard Blizzard in-game clock.
- Reminder notification in the main window of the addon, in the chat, and an audio notification on demand. All options are fully customizable.
- Built-in cross-server tracker for crafring skill cooldowns.
- Tracking cfafting skill cooldowns of the current character or all characters on the account.
- Automatic tracking of the crafting process to get information about cooldowns.
- Smart cooldown rollback notifications depending on addon settings and character combat status.
- Notification of cooldowns that rolled back while you were offline.
USAGE:
To move addon main window use mouse + Ctrl
To open configuration dialog use Alt+Click
SLASH COMMANDS:
/ramzclock - display help
/ramzclock config - open configuration window dialog
/ramzclock reset - load default settings
