RaidWhiteboard

RaidWhiteboard is a lightweight in-game whiteboard for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a.

Draw strategies, mark positions, explain mechanics, or quickly sketch out ideas directly inside the game. Raid/party leaders and assistants can share the board with the group.

Opening/closing the board

Use /rwb or click the RaidWhiteboard minimap button to toggle local board visibility. 

Drawing

Click Enable Drawing in the board menu.

You can then choose between:

• Pen — freehand drawing
• Text — place text on the board
• Eraser — remove drawings and text

Choose a color and line thickness to customize your markings. 

Sync

Sync controls outgoing synchronization.

When Sync is enabled, your changes are sent to the group. You can disable it while preparing a strategy and enable it when you are ready to share your changes.

This allows a raid leader or assistant to prepare a board without immediately sending every change to everyone else.

Presentation

Presentation controls whether the board is displayed to the group.

When Presentation is enabled, the board is shown to the other group members. It does not transmit drawings by itself — synchronization is handled separately.

This means you can prepare a board with Sync disabled and only present it when you are ready.

Background

The background button on the board cycles through three local display modes:

• T — Transparent
• D — Dark
• H — Light

The background setting is local to each player and is not synchronized. Choose whichever mode provides the best contrast with your current environment.

Permissions

Raid/party leaders and raid assistants have access to the board controls and can present the board to the group.

Players who are not leaders or assistants can still see the board when it is presented to them, but they cannot control the group presentation.

When playing without a group, the player has full local control and can use the whiteboard freely.
