Check if a player can play mechanics. DPS is important, but a dead DPS won't help

Description

RaidLogs — Avoidable Damage Tracker

"Before I invite someone, I want to know if they actually play well."

RaidLogs shows avoidable damage scores for any player, directly in your in-game tooltips — no alt-tabbing to WarcraftLogs.

How it works

  1. Enable combat logging in WoW with /combatlog
  2. After your raid, upload your WoWCombatLog.txt using the RaidLogs Uploader (macOS & Windows)
  3. Scores appear in-game instantly for every player in your raid — not just you

One upload covers the entire group. The raw log is parsed locally on your machine; only the computed scores are sent to our servers.

What you see in-game

When you open the Group Finder or hover over a player, RaidLogs shows:

  • Per-boss avoidance score (0–100%) for each raid in the current expansion
  • Difficulty (LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic)
  • A quick summary icon so you can evaluate an applicant at a glance

What "avoidable damage" means

Not all damage is equal. RaidLogs only tracks mechanics a player should have handled: avoidable ground effects, soak mechanics, dispels, interrupts. Damage that is assigned or unavoidable by design is ignored entirely.

Each mechanic is scored as:

  • PASS — zero failures while alive
  • FAIL — at least one failure while alive
  • ? — dead before the cast, or never exposed (excluded from the score)

Score = PASS ÷ (PASS + FAIL) × 100

Your displayed score is your best result across all kills of that boss at that difficulty.

Privacy

Your WoWCombatLog.txt is parsed locally on your machine. Only the computed results (player names, scores, encounter metadata) are sent to our servers. The raw log file is never uploaded.
