RaidLead Notes

RaidLead Notes is a lightweight in-game raid planning notebook for raid leaders, assistants and organized groups.

Prepare boss strategies, trash notes, role assignments and custom note tabs directly inside World of Warcraft — then post everything to Raid Chat or Raid Warning without leaving the game.

Custom Tab Names

The four internal note categories remain compatible with existing notes and backups, but their visible names can be changed freely.

For example:

DPS → Mage

When you post the note, the custom name is used as well:

[Mage]
Sheep Moon
Counterspell Skull

Each tab remembers the last 5 names you used, so commonly used assignments can quickly be selected again.

Boss & Trash Notes

Every supported raid contains notes for each boss plus a dedicated Trash section.

Trash notes are useful for:

• Pull assignments
• Crowd control
• Dangerous mobs
• Interrupts
• Raid markers
• Skip routes
• General trash strategies

Trash notes support the same tabs, posting, backups and other features as normal boss notes.

Raid Members & Markers

RaidLead Notes automatically displays your current raid members with class-colored names.

Click a player to insert their name directly at the current cursor position.

Raid target markers such as Star, Skull, Cross, Moon and Square can also be inserted directly into your notes.

Posting Notes

Post the currently selected note directly to:

• Raid Chat
• Raid Warning

Or use Post All to send every filled note tab for the currently selected boss or Trash section.

Multi-line messages are automatically queued with a short delay to improve reliability when posting several Raid Warning messages.

Backup System

RaidLead Notes includes a built-in backup history with up to 5 backup slots.

Backups can preserve:

• Boss notes
• Trash notes
• Custom tab names
• Recent tab-name history

Backup features include:

• Manual backups
• Automatic backups before important actions
• Restore
• Rename
• Delete
• Export

Older backups remain compatible.

Import & Export

Your complete RaidLead Notes setup can be exported and imported using the built-in transfer system.

This makes it easy to:

• Move notes between characters
• Share raid preparation
• Keep external backups
• Restore previous setups

Window & Interface

RaidLead Notes uses a clean dark interface designed to remain readable without covering too much of the game.

You can:

• Adjust window opacity
• Automatically increase readability while hovering over the window
• Lock or unlock the main window
• Move the launcher icon
• Change launcher icon size
• Reset the launcher position

Interactive Tutorial

New users receive a short interactive tutorial explaining the most important features.

The tutorial covers:

• Raid selection
• Boss and Trash notes
• Note tabs
• Custom tab names
• Writing notes
• Raid target icons
• Posting notes
• Settings and backups

It can be restarted at any time using the ? button in the main window.
