Raid Tracker

Track your Raid-Helper Discord signups directly in World of Warcraft!

Features

  • Minimap Button - Quick access with a draggable minimap button showing upcoming raids on hover
  • Raid List Display - Clean, sortable list of all your raid signups with countdown timers
  • Time Until Raid - Automatic countdown showing days and hours until each raid starts
  • Easy Import - Simple copy/paste import system to sync your Discord raid signups
  • Persistent Storage - Raid data is saved per-character and persists across sessions
  • Individual Management - Delete individual raids or manage your entire schedule

How to Use

Step 1: Get Your Raid-Helper API Key

  1. Open Discord and navigate to any server where the Raid-Helper bot is installed

  2. Send a direct message to the Raid-Helper bot

If you do not have an apikey already send /usersettings apikey refresh

If you already have a key send /usersettings apikey show

  3. Copy the key for later

Step 2: Retrieve Your Raid Data

  1. Visit the Raid Tracker web portal at:

    https://your-server-domain.com/raidhelper/

(Ask your guild/raid leader for the specific URL if you don't have it)

  2. Enter your API key (from Step 1) into the web form

  3. Click "Get Events" to retrieve all your raid signups

  4. The website will display your raid data grouped by character name. Find your character and click on their name to copy the raid list to your clipboard

If you see any unmatched raids, you can choose to:

    • Remove them from the results
    • Associate them with a known raid name
    • Use a custom name

Step 3: Import Into the Addon

  1. In World of Warcraft, click the Raid Tracker minimap button (bell icon) or type /raidtracker or /rt

  2. Click the "Import" button in the top-left corner of the Raid Tracker window

  3. Paste the raid data you copied from the website (Ctrl+V)

    The data format is:

    RaidName,UnixTimestamp,CharacterName

  4. Click "Import" - Your raids will now appear in the tracker!

Step 4: View Your Raids

  • Minimap Button Tooltip: Hover over the minimap button to see your next 5 upcoming raids
  • Main Window: Click the minimap button or use /rt to open the full raid list
  • Countdown Timers: Each raid shows time remaining (e.g., "3d 5h" or "12h")
  • Past Raids: Raids that have already occurred are marked as "Past"
  • Delete Raids: Click the X button next to any raid to remove it from your tracker

Commands

  • /raidtracker or /rt - Toggle the main Raid Tracker window

Tips

  • Update Regularly: Re-import from the website whenever you sign up for new raids or make changes in Discord
  • Character-Specific: Each character has its own saved raid list
  • Draggable: Both the minimap button and main window can be dragged to your preferred positions
  • Easy Cleanup: Delete old raids individually or clear your list and re-import fresh data

Requirements

  • World of Warcraft Classic (1.15.x)
  • Access to a Raid Tracker web server (ask your guild/raid leader)
  • Raid-Helper Discord bot access

Support & Issues

If you encounter any issues:

  1. Ensure you're using the correct API key from !apikey command
  2. Verify the web server URL with your guild/raid leader
  3. Check that your raid data was copied completely from the website
  4. Try deleting old raids and re-importing fresh data

Privacy & Security

  • Your API key is never stored by the web server or addon
  • Raid data is stored locally in your WoW saved variables
  • Only you can access your personal raid signups via your API key
