RaidNightTrivia-4.2.zip
What's new
Changelog – 4.2
New
- Audio rounds: the game plays its own sound files, so there is nothing to download. Only the sound ID is sent and each player’s game plays it. There are about 90 clips: raid and dungeon boss lines, famous characters, creatures, everyday game sounds and city and zone music. There’s a Replay button for players. Test a clip with
/quiz sound <id>, or add your own with/quiz addsound. - Dungeons and Raids banks: 165 questions each, across expansions.
- Christmas bank: about 70 questions.
- Geography map rounds: 120 places. The map shows a red circle pin, and you can zoom and drag it. A correct answer scores 30 points, with a 10-point bonus for the closest.
- Quiz Master: the raid leader can hand hosting to another player. The host can also play.
- Announce Winner: posts an editable message. The fastest answer is announced too.
- Player board: shows who has answered and who was right or wrong, and has an X to close it.
- Test mode: a 20-player test raid with bots.
- Golden Q quick button:
- Left-click: a random easy, medium, hard, dungeon or raid question.
- Shift+Left: a map question.
- Ctrl+Left: an audio question.
- Right-click: a group vote on the category. Halloween and Christmas are left out.
- Shift+Right: the Quiz Master panel.
- Category vote: now covers Easy, Medium, Hard, Dungeons, Raids, Audio and Geography.
- More questions: 15 extra for each existing category, with duplicates checked.
Fixes
- WoW Forever “First Last” player names now match correctly.
- Delve companions no longer count as a group.
- Solo play no longer loses its messages.
- The results grid and map now close quickly and no longer get stuck.
- The Lua error on
optin the host panel is fixed.
Changed
- Renamed from PubQuiz to Raid Night Trivia.
- Difficulties are now Easy, Medium and Hard.
Known gaps:
- Colouring the player board by vote category is still missing. Voters just show as “answered”.
- I haven’t verified the audio clips by ear, so check them with
/quiz sound. - Shift+Left no longer posts the top 5 scores. It now asks a map question, so use the host panel or
/quizfor scores.
