Raid Buff Reminder
v0.2.0 (2026-09-06)
Full Changelog Previous Releases
- Clicking a player in the reminder targets them
Targeting needs secure buttons (TargetUnit is off limits to addon code),
and the client won't let addons move, show, hide, or re-aim those in
combat, nor any frame above them. So the panel and its rows stay plain
frames under a new container, and one secure button per row is parented
to the container, not the panel, and anchored over its row: anchors keep
it in place for free, and the panel stays unprotected. Out of combat a
layout pass sets each button's unit and visibility. In combat the rows
refresh in place while the panel keeps its shape, so the buttons still
aim right; if the shape would change the panel dims and waits for the
scan Core runs when combat ends. "Hide in combat" moves to a secure
state driver on the container (locked only, so an unlocked panel stays
visible to be dragged), which fixed an ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED on
EnableMouse from a first cut that parented the buttons to the panel.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 noreply@anthropic.com - Reminder lists players vertically, three per buff, then "+N more"
Each buff is now a block: a header row with icon and full spell name,
then one row per missing player on a class-colored bar (grey when out
of range) with their raid group at the right, Details-style. Only the
first three players get rows; the rest fold into a grey "+N more" row,
and hovering any row still lists everyone. The panel narrows to 200px
since names no longer run side by side.
Theshortbuff label existed only for the old single-line layout, so
it goes; headers use the full spell name.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 noreply@anthropic.com - Addon logo, with TGA icons for the addon list and minimap button
A gold shield holding a radiant buff-star over three class-colored
figures, with a red reminder badge: assets/logo.png is the CurseForge
project art, drawn by etc/logo.py (Pillow). The script also bakes two
64x64 TGAs from it, since the anniversary client garbles PNG textures:
logo.tga becomes the addon-list icon via ## IconTexture, and minimap.tga,
a circular crop zoomed on the shield with the mask in its alpha channel,
replaces the stock Fortitude icon on the minimap button (so no runtime
SetMask). The packager ships only the TGAs; the png stays repo-only.
