An Among Us–style raid minigame addon for World of Warcraft that adds deception and strategy to your raid experience!

📖 Description

Raid Among Us transforms your raid group into a thrilling game of deception. Players are secretly assigned as either Imposters 👾 or Crewmates 🧑‍🚀. Imposters must secretly sabotage other players through various tasks while Crewmates try to identify and vote out the saboteurs.

• Flexible Role Assignment:
  • Auto-assign (1 imposter per 5 players) or specify exact numbers
  • Support for multiple imposters in larger raids
• Target-Based Sabotage System: 5 different sabotage tasks for Imposters:
  • Pretend Disconnect (45s CD): Act DC'd for 10 seconds (no casts/moves)
  • Wrong Target (45s CD): Attack incorrect targets for 15 seconds
  • AFK Dance (35s CD): Type /dance mid-fight for 3 seconds
  • Ignore Mechanic (45s CD): Intentionally fail a non-lethal safe mechanic once
  • Call Wrong Marker (30s CD): Call an obviously wrong marker once
• Visual Cooldown System: Buttons gray out and show countdown timers
• Voting System: Democratic voting to eliminate suspected Imposters
• Anonymous Communication: Sabotage victims receive anonymous task instructions

🎮 Usage

Starting a Game

• Raid Leaders/Assistants only can start games
• Manual start with /rau start or /rau start [number]
• Requires at least 2 players in group/raid

For Imposters 👾

1. Target Selection: Click on a raid member to target them
2. Sabotage: Click any sabotage button to send the task to your target
3. Cooldown Management: Wait for cooldowns before using the same sabotage again
4. Stay Hidden: Sabotages are sent anonymously - don't reveal yourself!

For Crewmates 🧑‍🚀

1. Stay Vigilant: Watch for suspicious behavior during encounters
2. Report Observations: Discuss what you've seen with the raid
3. Vote Wisely: Use /rau vote to call emergency meetings and vote to eliminate suspects

Commands

• /rau start - Auto-assign imposters (1 per 5 players)
• /rau start 2 - Assign exactly 2 imposters
• /rau start 3 - Assign exactly 3 imposters
• /rau end - End the current game (leaders only)
• /rau vote - Call emergency meeting and open voting UI
• /rau config - Configure sabotage names/descriptions/cooldowns (leaders only)

• World of Warcraft (Interface version 11.0.2 or later)

• Group leader permissions required to start games
• Recommended: All players install the addon for the best experience

🎯 How to Play

Game Setup

1. Install: Ensure raid leader and all players have the addon installed
2. Start: Raid leader uses /rau start (auto) or /rau start 3 (3 imposters)
3. Roles: Players receive secret role assignments

Imposter Strategy

1. Blend In: Act like a normal raid member during encounters
2. Target Wisely: Click on players to target them for sabotage
3. Sabotage Strategically: Use your abilities to disrupt without being obvious
4. Timing: Use cooldowns wisely - don't spam the same sabotage
5. Stay Anonymous: Never reveal you sent sabotages to anyone

Crewmate Strategy

1. Observe: Watch for unusual behavior during encounters
2. Note Patterns: Who keeps making "mistakes" or acting strangely?
3. Discuss: Talk about observations
4. Vote Together: Use /rau vote to call emergency meetings and vote to eliminate suspects
5. Trust Carefully: Anyone could be the imposter!

Victory Conditions

• Crewmates win if they vote out imposters
• Imposters win if they avoid detection and successfully sabotage encounters

Customizing Sabotages

Raid leaders can customize sabotage names, descriptions, and cooldowns using /rau config:

Configuration Features:

• Custom Names: Change button labels (e.g., "Lag Spike" instead of "Pretend Disconnect")
• Custom Descriptions: Modify task instructions sent to victims
• Cooldown Adjustment: Fine-tune balance with custom cooldown timers
• Cross-Raid Sync: Changes automatically sync to all raid members
• Persistent Storage: Configurations save between sessions

How It Works:

1. Leader configures - Only raid leaders/assistants can access /rau config
2. Auto-broadcast - Changes instantly sync to all raid members
3. Auto-request - New members automatically receive current config
4. Live updates - Imposter UIs refresh with new settings immediately

• Encounter-specific: "Stand in Fire" for fire-based fights

🐛 Troubleshooting

Common Issues
