Suppresses a specific Blizzard tutorial tip — "Focus on a quest by clicking its icon" — that is currently bugged and keeps reappearing instead of staying dismissed after being acknowledged.
What it does
Quiet Tips hooks into Blizzard's built-in HelpTip (tutorial popup) system and blocks this one specific tip from ever displaying. No other tutorial tips, help prompts, or UI elements are affected.
Why
As of the current patch, this tip doesn't respect Blizzard's normal "don't show this again" dismissal and keeps popping up during normal play. Quiet Tips intercepts it before it can appear.
Commands
/quiettips — manually closes the tip immediately if it's on screen right now (a fallback in case it ever slips past the automatic block).
Notes
- Extremely lightweight: one Lua file, no settings, no dependencies.
- Safe to leave enabled indefinitely — if Blizzard fixes the underlying bug in a future patch, this addon simply has nothing left to do.
