QuickBinder

Bind spells to hotkeys by pressing these hotkeys on spell in spell book without dragging to action bars.

QuickBinder allows you to bind spells to hotkeys by pressing these hotkeys when you mouse over a spell in your spellbook, without dragging it to your action bars. It supports binding sets for different specializations, stances, and whatever you want by creating custom macros.

To start binding:

  1. Open your SpellBook
  2. Hover over the spell
  3. Press your desired key combination

That’s it! Your spell is now bound and you can use it!

New hotkeys will bind spells to all specs at once. If you want different spells for different specs, simply switch your specialization and bind a different spell. QuickBinder will remember this spell only for its spec with this hotkey.

The hotkeys are temporary. If you want your old hotkeys back, just turn off the addon.

Stance Mode and All Specs options.

There are two options for now, which you can see when you open your SpellBook.
The “Stance Mode” checkbox allows you to bind separate spells specific to stances, such as only feral abilities for feral stance or only bear abilities for bear stance. Please remember that human form is also considered a stance! So you can bind spells specifically for human form. If you uncheck Stance Mode, your new bindings will work across the rest of the UNUSED stances. For example, if you bound CTRL+E to Sprint for Feral shape, Taunt for Bear shape, and Lifebloom for Human shape with Stance Mode on, and then bound Rebirth to CTRL+E without Stance Mode on, Rebirth will be cast in any shape except Feral, Bear and Human.

The “All Specs” sub-option allows you to bind a spell to your stances across all specs (just to speed up the process if you want to change the spell). For example, if you have SHIFT+F bound to some ability for Feral shape that you don’t want anymore, you can click “All Specs” and then bind a new ability to SHIFT+F for every spec in Feral shape.

How to delete bindings?

In your SpellBook, you can see an empty button. Hover over it and press the key combination. Then, you will have two options: to Erase all bindings from this hotkey across all specs or to Modify it manually to your liking (so you can write a whole new custom macro here and bind it to this hotkey with the current spec).

By default, QuickBinder remembers all your bindings by class. In the future, I’ll add character dependency, mouseover mode (for healers for example).
